Deranged in the best way
Hi,
A few weeks ago, everyone was talking about this slightly unhinged Instagram post by Jenny Mollen, where she referred to her 12-year-old son as her toxic boyfriend. I had no clue who this lady was- apparently her followers defended this as her typical humor. (Cute. Disturbing.) But I do know boy mom material is ripe for the picking, so I ran with it.
(And in case you have any doubt about the destruction boy moms can do, may I present to you, as my writer friend Brenna called her, the boy mom final boss: Maye Musk.)
To give things a little twist, I made this character a boy dog mom. It was a choice that someone on TikTok dubbed “deranged in the best way,” (new bio line incoming.) But more importantly, it allowed me to use my daughter’s favorite jacket, complete with fluorescent puppies.
I feel the need to add that like 90% of the things I say in this video are direct quotes from Jenny Mollen. (Cute. Disturbing.) Here it is if you missed it, or if you just want to be weirded out again.
